The after-school program is designed to assist students with their academics and boost their interest in science and technology. We are able to accomplish this through homework assistance, robotics, field trips, community service, and life skills sessions. We close out our after-school program with the FSI Oscar Awards where students receive recognition for their hard work.
The Georgia PREP program is a state administered-federally funded initiative designed to educate youth between the ages of 10-19 on both abstinence and contraception for the prevention of pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections, including HIV/AIDS. PREP promotes healthy relationships, healthy life skills, and adolescent development.

The vision of Georgia’s PREP initiative is to provide high priority youth in 10 counties free access to evidence-based teen pregnancy prevention programs and supplemental adult preparation subjects.

Future Seekers Georgia YouthBuild services Fulton County school-aged youth who do not have a high school diploma/General Education Diploma or currently working to achieve a high school diploma or General Education Diploma. Our programs support youth in building positive social skills, academic skills, and credentialing pre-certifications. By providing community services programs, the Georgia YouthBuild program seeks to educate participants on their duty to give back to the community. The program provides Academic Assistance and Tutoring, Personal Responsibility Education Program (PREP), Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), Pre-Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A), and Multi-Craft Core Training (MC3 – Construction).

Operation DFC is dedicated to promoting healthy living and enhance the quality of life for our community.
We offer the FIRST robotics programs. Our FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC) students and their mentors are challenged to solve a common problem in a six-week timeframe using a standard “kit of parts” and a common set of rules. Students must apply to be on the FIRST Robotics team. FIRST teams meet at the Johnson STEM Activity Center in Downtown Atlanta.

During the rest of the week, teens are participating in robotics, college tours, field trips, and community service, dance, and much more. In preparation for the Annual Summer Extravaganza, teens participate in dance, art, public speaking, and more.
