Who Are We?
We are TeknoSquad, FIRST FRC Team #5219. Currently, we reside at the Johnson Research and Development Facility in downtown Atlanta. We are part of Future Seekers, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization providing high school teens free after-school and summer programs. Future Seekers encourages us to make proud and responsible choices as we move into adulthood.
TeknoSquad was formed out of three FRC teams started by Future Seekers. In December 2015, the teams decided they wanted to unite as one, thus forming TeknoSquad by rebranding one of the original team numbers. TeknoSquad is more than a robotics team, TeknoSquad is a family.
TeknoSquad firmly believes in giving back to our communities, after all, part of our name stands for "Engaging Kindness". In cooperation with GAFIRST, we go to different demonstrations and volunteer at many local & national events. In addition, in cooperation with Future Seekers, we participate in different drives, ie: toiletry, toy, coat, canned food, and much more!
